HOLD FLOW SLOW™
For the Kids in Tune Series
Learning how to Structure and Facilitate Children's Self-Regulation
1-month immersive online training 2023
Sign up closedThe essentials training equips learners with the understanding, application, and navigation of the three basic steps for self-regulation - setting up readiness (HOLD), balancing action-interaction (FLOW), and integrating experiences (SLOW). It enables you to create an organically structured environment and orient yourself in your work or sessions with kids.
- This essentials training aims to equip therapists, teachers, and caregivers with the skills and strategies to help children effectively re-ignite the natural self-regulatory processes after stressful experiences, daily tasks, and creative moments.
- The training uses a concise version of the HOLD FLOW SLOW™ framework. It will teach attendees how to map, put into action, and lead with these three parts of self-regulation to create an environment and a workflow that supports emotional inclusion and energetic coherence.
- Participants will leave with a set of solid tools to integrate these principles into their practice. It will allow them to facilitate processes that organize the rising and lowering the energy of the child when they engage in challenging situations. This will open an opportunity to match the children’s energy where they are at, make your actions more relevant to their world, and save energy in the process.
