Curriculum Overview

Module 1: Regulate First – Foundations of Nervous System-Informed Practice

This module equips you with the skills to recognize and respond to children’s nervous system dynamics, so your facilitation becomes both more effective and less draining. Grounded in Alé Duarte’s 5 Phases of Self-Regulation Model, you’ll learn how to track readiness and engagement, design sessions that align with natural rhythms, and develop a facilitation stance that balances organic flow with intentional guidance.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Mastering the 5 Phases of Self-Regulation Model to read children’s patterns of curiosity, play, and restoration
  • Designing session and class structures that support, rather than disrupt, regulatory needs
  • Developing facilitation skills that help you know when to lead, when to follow, and when to witness—putting regulation first

Module 2: Creative-Constructive Facilitation – Supporting Ideas into Action

Support children’s resilience by helping their ideas take shape. Learn to guide creative-constructive cycles, sustain engagement, and overcome common blocks.

  • Creative-constructive cycles: source–path–goal
  • Channels of expression & investigating intentions
  • Supporting motivation and task completion
  • Addressing digital distraction & fostering authentic creativity

Module 3: Somatic Tracking & Integration – Stories in Transformation

Integrating somatic tracking with symbolic storytelling. Learn to read subtle cues, guide symbolic expression, and transform experiences into resilience.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Somatic tracking in practice: inner ↔ outer world, stairs
  • Unpacking symbols & stories for integration
  • Linking sensations, movements & narratives
  • Case studies & real-life applications

    Modul 1: Regulate First – Grundlagen nervensystem-informierter Praxis

    Dieses Modul vermittelt dir die Fähigkeiten, die Dynamik des Nervensystems von Kindern zu erkennen und darauf zu reagieren. So wird deine Begleitung wirkungsvoller und weniger belastend. Basierend auf Alé Duartes 5-Phasen-Selbstregulationsmodell lernst du, wie du Bereitschaft und Engagement verfolgst, Sitzungen im Einklang mit natürlichen Rhythmen gestaltest und eine Haltung entwickelst, die organischen Fluss mit gezielter Führung verbindet.

    Schwerpunkte:

    • Das 5-Phasen-Selbstregulationsmodell anwenden, um Muster von Neugier, Spiel und Erholung zu lesen
    • Sitzungs- und Klassenstrukturen gestalten, die Regulationsbedürfnisse unterstützen statt stören

Terms of Participation for the KidSoma Practitioner Training

1) Registration & Payment

  • You can pay in full or in installments. Your place is reserved (and access opens) once the first installment is paid.

  • If an installment cannot be processed, course access pauses until payment is completed. Please ensure funds are available for each due date.

2) Right of Withdrawal (EU)

  • If you register as a consumer, you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw—no reason needed.

  • Just email [email protected]  and we’ll refund amounts paid.

  • If the training begins within those 14 days and you access materials or attend a live session, you may waive the withdrawal right for those services.

3) Purpose & Scope

  • KidSoma is continuing education focused on supporting children’s development (approx. ages 6–12).

  • It is not therapy or medical treatment, and not a state qualification.

  • How you apply what you learn is your responsibility and must follow the laws of your country.

4) Participation Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 (or written consent from a parent/guardian).

  • Stable internet connection for live online sessions.

5) Use of Content & Privacy

  • Materials are for your personal professional development only; sharing or commercial reuse is not allowed.

  • We handle your data confidentially and in line with the EU GDPR.

6) Liability

  • Participation is at your own discretion and responsibility.

  • We do not promise specific outcomes and are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from participation.

7) Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

  • If we must postpone or cancel, we will offer an alternative date or refund any fees paid.

  • Your options (Berlin Time):

    • Until 16 Oct 2025: 75% refund

    • 17 Oct–10 Nov 2025: 50% refund

    • From 11 Nov 2025: no refunds

  • Seat transfer: You may transfer your spot to a qualified practitioner until 16 Oct 2025 (no transfers after the program begins).

  • For installment plans, the refund tiers apply to the total tuition; any overpaid amount above the applicable tier is refunded.

  • If life happens, write to us—while we follow the dates above, we’ll always try to find a kind solution.

  • Kann eine Rate nicht abgebucht werden, pausiert der Zugang bis zur erfolgreichen Zahlung. Bitte sorge für ausreichende Deckung zu den Fälligkeiten.

2) Widerrufsrecht (EU)

  • Als Verbraucher:in hast du 14 Tage ab Kaufdatum, um ohne Angabe von Gründen zu widerrufen.

  • Sende dazu eine E-Mail an [email protected] ; bereits gezahlte Beträge erstatten wir zurück.

  • Beginnt das Training innerhalb dieser 14 Tage und nutzt du Inhalte oder nimmst live teil, kann das Widerrufsrecht für diese Leistungen erlöschen.

3) Zweck & Rahmen

  • KidSoma ist eine Weiterbildung zur Begleitung kindlicher Entwicklung (ca. 6–12 Jahre).

  • Es handelt sich nicht um Therapie oder medizinische Behandlung und keine staatliche Qualifikation.

  • Die Anwendung des Gelernten liegt in deiner Verantwortung und muss den Gesetzen deines Landes entsprechen.

4) Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

  • Mindestalter 18 Jahre (oder schriftliche Einwilligung eines Erziehungsberechtigten).

  • Stabile Internetverbindung für Live-Onlinesessions.

5) Nutzung der Inhalte & Datenschutz

  • Materialien dienen deiner persönlichen beruflichen Weiterbildung; Weitergabe oder kommerzielle Nutzung ist nicht gestattet.

  • Wir verarbeiten deine Daten vertraulich gemäß EU-DSGVO.

6) Haftung

  • Die Teilnahme erfolgt in eigener Verantwortung.

  • Wir geben keine Erfolgsversprechen und haften nicht für direkte oder indirekte Schäden aus der Teilnahme.

7) Änderungen, Storno & Rückerstattung

  • Sollte ein Termin verschoben oder das Training abgesagt werden, bieten wir einen Ersatztermin oder erstatten bereits gezahlte Gebühren.

  • Deine Optionen (Berliner Zeit):

    • Bis 16.10.2025: 75 % Rückerstattung

    • 17.10.–10.11.2025: 50 % Rückerstattung

    • Ab 11.11.2025: keine Rückerstattung

  • Platzübertragung: Du kannst deinen Platz bis 16.10.2025 an eine qualifizierte Fachperson übertragen (keine Übertragungen nach Trainingsbeginn).

  • Bei Ratenzahlung gelten die Stufen auf die Gesamtkursgebühr; ein überzahlter Betrag über die jeweilige Stufe hinaus wird erstattet.

  • Wenn das Leben dazwischenkommt, schreib uns—wir halten die obigen Daten ein und suchen trotzdem eine freundliche Lösung.
